Here you’ll find a collection of books that I personally recommend. I’ve broken it down into subcategories to make searching easier. Each of these books is an excellent read so you can’t really go wrong picking any.
Self Improvement
Atomic Habits - James Clear
I think most of the self improvement industry is more or less functionally useless. This book, however, has some actual actionable methods and advice and the science behind the way your brain works. I highly recommend this above any other book of its kind.
Stolen Focus - Johann Hari
This was an excellent dive into the science of what makes or breaks your focus and how to work with it. Especially if you have ADHD.
Mindset and Approach to Life
It's all in your Head - Russ
I did not expect Russ to have such good advice on getting started with something you think is a long shot, but this was a solid read.
When Breath Becomes Air - Paul Kalanithi
Autobiography by a Doctor dying from cancer. Makes you think.
Finance
I will Teach you to be Rich - Ramit Sethi
This book gives you great actionable advice on how to become financially stable instead of just concepts.
