Photo / Video
This was my first camera. Basic, cheap, DSLR that gets what you need done and lets you learn about photography without breaking the bank. I’ll upgrade eventually, but for now, this guy is everything I need.
Canon EOS Rebel T6i
Lens came with the camera and I’ve yet to get a second one. 50mm is the king of middle ground, but I really want to get a lens near 24mm. A great starting lens, and its perfect for photos (especially portraits, look into focal length effects on the face if you don’t already know), it is impossible to get any handheld video with a 50mm when I’m inside or vlogging.
Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens
Bought this recently as a small appearance upgrade from my last Kodak. Film is an expensive hobby, so I like to keep it to trips with friends and I only care to use a point and shoot.
Kodak Ultra F9 Film Camera
GoPro Hero10 Black
Classic action camera. Has been nothing short of amazing to me. I’ve carried this baby through 9 countries and counting. Almost lost it a handful of times and was convinced I had twice (please use the floaty attachment if you go anywhere near water). GoPro has been good to me, and the unlimited cloud video storage is arguably on par with the camera itself.
Wishlist
These are the things I plan on getting or want to work towards. If you book me, there’s a good chance this is where the money is going towards.
Also - if you have one of these used and are wanting to sell - get in touch with me.
The inevitable upgrade for photography and video work. This would help me take my work to the next level.
Canon R6 Mark II
Desperately need one of these due to my camera and lens being not great for video. I just don’t know which one I’m getting yet.
DJI Gimbal (or a gimbal)
I want to experience the 24mm and 35mm focal lengths and have a good all around lens and this is a good all in one for that. It’s a bit more bulky than I’d like for traveling, and for that reason if I come across the individual focal lengths I’ll probably get them as well.
Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L II USM
DJI Mic
Need to capture audio in a better way than straight through the camera and this would be helpful since I move around a lot
Best all-rounder for sports photography, and covers a longer half focal length for me. Combine this with the 24 - 70mm and I can do almost anything.
